Lovely as a Tree

I saw this card done on the Stampin' Up! website (I don't remember who created it, sorry) and I loved it so I cased it.  The large tree on the right is actually stamped with black craft ink & embossed in black details embossing powder on vellum cardstock and put together with the brads (no adhesive).  The sunset is sponged on the background.  I actually used this for a sympathy card but you could put any sentiment you wanted on it.

I absolutely LOVE this stamp set and am very happy that it's NOT retiring the end of May.  There are over 100 stamp sets retiring.  As you might already know that Stampin' Up! is changing their Idea Book & Catalog. The release will be June 1, 2012 with a smaller catalog.  They are also changing their mini catalogs.  There will be 2 seasonal mini catalogs released (during the year) that will be a little larger than the ones they offer now.

I can't wait to see what new stamp sets they are coming out with for us. Remember that the retired Stamps can only be purchased through May 31st and it's as supplies last so if you have a favorite that will be retiring make sure to order it ASAP before it's gone forever!  As always thanks for stopping by & looking.
Until next time......  Happy Stamping...

Our Spring Babies

I bought MDS (My Digital Studio) from Stampin' Up! about 3 months ago and finally had a little time to play with it today.  These are 2 of our 8 babies here on our farm.  This is Pinky & Dinky our bottle fed lambs.  I can't believe how easy it was to put this page together!  I've been wanting to scrapbook but just haven't  really had the time to drag everything out to play around.  I found sometime tonight while uploading my photo's and I can't believe I've been missing out on this.  It's SO easy to use.  If you love taking picture & scrap booking then this is DEFINITELY a must have product!
Until next time......

Rainbow Birthday Card

Well life sure has been very busy here.  We had 4 sheep all give birth to twins.  Of 8 babies we have 2 that have to be bottle fed so that has taken up a lot of my time lately.  We now have rescued a 3 week old kitten who is such a runt were afraid he/she may not survive.  Now I have to syringe feed every 2 hours or so.  As I said life is sure busy these days.  I did manage to find some time on a very dark, rainy day to create this beautiful butterfly rainbow card.  I hope you like it.  Until next time........ Happy Stamping!!!

Complete Wedding set

I always see wedding invitations and wanted to create my own and some favors also.  I know a couple of young ladies who are getting married and I hope I'm lucky enough to make their invitations for them.  I wish I could have done this when I got married!!

My "Negative" Butterfly Card

Well here it is already half way through January.  Boy time sure does fly bye.  Since before Christmas my life has had many uphill battles to face.  I've been out of work for almost a month now due to some medical problems. Being home all the time I was starting to feel a bit down in the dumps so I decided to turn my mood into a card.  I created this "Negative" Butterfly Card and I have to say that I just love it!!  It's just what I needed to pull me out of my slump.  Now I'm not just working on making cards & scrapbook pages I'm also going to put more of my time & dedication into posting to my blog on a more regular basis.  Till next time..

Holiday Coasters

I love stamping craft projects that can be used for gifts.  I am making a bunch of coasters & hot plates as gifts this year for teachers & bus drivers.
